I tried “The Blood of Elves” and it pretty much sucked. I was really annoyed at the whole chapter spent on a discussion by townsfolk about the events from the last book! Terrible way to catch a reader up to speed. Boring as hell it was. I only lasted five more chapters before putting the book down. I’ve got better uses for my time.
Brent, you should have won it!

I agree with both the other posters, even though I haven’t red any of Joe Abercrombie’s books. I love The Night Angel Trilogy and cannot wait for more!!

I’m with the above poster the Night Angel trilogy blew me away. It was incredibly well written and I hated having to go to sleep every night when I was reading it! Maybe make it a cycle?

I’ve got to say that stinks.. As much as I like the Witcher, Kylar kicks more but and the books are written better. Maybe its the translation, but I flew through these books over the past 3 days (up until 4 this morning finishing the last one). I cant wait for more! Great job! Joe A., Patrick Rothfuss and Mr. Weeks are on top of this genre in my opinion. Thanks..
